After our hero said goodbye to his father and little brother, his journey finally started. He was about to leave his town, but before he had to visit the Holy Cave. The highest priest of the cave blessed our hero and wished him luck.

"Good luck young warrior, you will need it. The road in front of you will not be the easiest road you have walked. Be aware of the dangers hidden in the forest"
"I will..."
"Here, take this with you. Write me as soon as you get to the Crystal City. Good luck..."
"Thank you..."

The second piece of the serie. This time a collab with my friend ~ndh. He uploaded an earlier version of it on his DA, but it didn't fit too well after all... That's why i did some drastic editing.

O man , I really love these series.. reminds me a lot of " lord of the rings " ( don't blame me , blame the font ;) )
great dark atmosphere .. and great contrast with the intense light.. I love the silhouettes.. very orignal..

the way you create an almost realistic fantasy world with completly abstract renders is amazing..
when adding the little fella the whole scene comes alive.. it almost looks like a painting..

btw I saw ~ndh's version.. and tho his version is way more colourfull etc, yours fits better in the whole story..
so I prefer this one..

I absolutely love this series of yours. I've said it before, but these are by far some of the most creative, and well-done pieces I have seen in a long time. Keep up the great work man, I'll be eagerly awaiting each and every one.
